Catalog of U.S. Government Publications U.S. Government Printing Office
This official source is the online counterpart to the Monthly Catalog of United States Government Publications. It covers electronic and print publications from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the U.S. government beginning with 1976. These publications make up the National Bibliography of U.S. Government Publications. The catalog includes links to publications that are available full-text in electronic format, and will eventually include records for publications dating back to the late 1800s. Individual for the Congressional Serial Set, Congressional publications, GPO Access publications, Internet Publications, Periodicals, and Serials are also searchable from the Advanced Search page.

U.S. Government Publications Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries
Another online version of the Catalog of U.S. Government Publications, this index covers titles published by agencies of the U.S. Government and cataloged by the U.S. Government Printing Office since 1976.

Checklist of United States Public Documents, 1789-1909 Evergreen State College, Daniel J. Evans Library
A PDF version of the standard work providing a catalog of departmental and Congressional publications for the years 1789 to 1909. Provides access by Superintendant of Documents classification number, as well as a listing of Congressional Serial Set materials arranged by Congress and session.

LexisNexis Statistical [Rutgers Restricted]
Unifies the indexing from three previously published print products, the American Statistics Index for U.S. government statistical publications (1973+); the Statistical Reference Index for statistical resources from state agencies, think tanks, and private sources (1980+); and the Index to International Statistics for documents from international governmental organizations (1983+). Full text or web links are provided for some citations, and the complete text of the Statistical Abstract of the United States is included in the database.

Congressional Documents Online
A full-text archive of selected documents of the United States Congress from the collection of the Rutgers - Camden School of Law. A work in progress that includes Hearings dating from the 1970s to 1998.

Congressional Research Service
Provides a search function to locate online CRS reports by keyword, phrase, or Order Code. CRS is the public policy research arm of the US Congress. It issues briefs, reports, short issue papers, and longer position papers. Reports are also searchable at Open CRS and the University of North Texas Libraries site.

CQ Researcher [Rutgers Restricted]
Weekly reports produced by the well-regarded Washington reporting service, Congressional Quarterly Inc., from 1991 to the present.

A full text database of key publications of the United States Congress, including the journals, reports, and documents. Still a work in progress, the database will cover the 15th through the 96th Congresses (1817 to 1980) when complete. A companion database, the American State Papers, 1789-1838, covers the first 14 Congresses (1789-1817) and chronologically overlaps the Serial Set by including additional publications from 1817-1838.

U.S. Congressional Serial Set U.S. Government Printing Office
A full text database of committee reports from the 104th Congress (1995-96) forward related to bills and other matters, presidential communications to Congress, treaty materials, certain executive department publications, and certain non-governmental publications.

National Environmental Publications Information System (NEPIS)
From the National Service Center for Environmental Publications, the site provides a searchable database of EPA reports, Federal Register notices, and other documents.

National Technical Information Service (NTIS) [Rutgers Restricted]
Part of Engineering Village 2, NTIS is the premier source for accessing unclassified reports from influential U.S. and international government agencies. The database includes citations from government departments such as NASA, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the U.S. Department of Defense.

Public STINET (Scientific & Technical Information Network)
A searchable database of unclassified documents in the Defense Technical Information Center's Technical Reports Collection, including the full-text of many documents. Also provides access to the Air University Library Index to Military Periodicals, Staff College Automated Military Periodical Index, DoD Index to Specifications and Standards, and Research and Development Descriptive Summaries.

PubMed U.S. National Library of Medicine
Provides access to citations for biomedical articles back to the 1950's. Citations are from MEDLINE and additional life science journals. Includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources.

Science.gov
A gateway to selected authoritative science web sites and databases of technical reports, journal articles, conference proceedings, and other published materials. The web pages and the databases can be searched individually or simultaneously from the search page.

CCH Tax Research NetWork [Rutgers Restricted]
A comprehensive database of documents related to taxation in the United States. The full text of federal tax law, Internal Revenue Service publications, and numerous interpretive tax guides are available online. Tax reporters for all fifty states are included, as well as current state and federal tax news. The database is fully searchable for free text or individual citations.

Declassified Documents Reference System [Rutgers Restricted]
A full text database of previously classified documents declassified by the federal government. It includes material on both domestic and international affairs from such agencies as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the National Security Agency.

Education Reports from ERIC
Searchable full text reports from 2002 to the present on federally funded education research topics from the U.S. Department of Education's Educational Resources Information Center.

GAO Search U.S. Government Accountability Office
Search GAO reports and legal products from 1970 to the present. All published reports, testimonies, correspondence, and special publications are included, as are some products issued as far back as 1922, although that part of the collection is not comprehensive. Reports and testimony can also be browsed.

Nationwide statistics on crime in the United States based on information submitted by city, county, and state law enforcement agencies. Some statistics are available back to 1995.

U.S. Congressional Serial Set, 1817-1980 [Rutgers Restricted]
A full text database of key publications of the United States Congress, including the journals, reports, and documents. Still a work in progress, the database will cover the 15th through the 96th Congresses (1817 to 1980) when complete. A companion database, the American State Papers, 1789-1838, covers the first 14 Congresses (1789-1817) and chronologically overlaps the Serial Set by including additional publications from 1817-1838.

U.S. Congressional Serial Set U.S. Government Printing Office
A full text database of committee reports from the 104th Congress (1995-96) forward related to bills and other matters, presidential communications to Congress, treaty materials, certain executive department publications, and certain non-governmental publications.

Searchable versions of the Manual for 1995-96 forward, plus browseable PDF format versions from 1997-98 forward. "As the official handbook of the Federal Government, The United States Government Manual provides comprehensive information on the agencies of the legislative, judicial, and executive branches.
