- The most comprehensive compilation of data on all aspects of U.S. criminal justice. - Uniform Crime Reports

- Annual reports produced by the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division. One of the two national measures of U.S. crime, unlike the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) the UCR is based on specific offenses reported to law enforcement agencies. UCR reports include:

- National Archive of Criminal Justice Data

- NACJD makes criminal justice data available to the public for secondary analysis. A branch of the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR)
at the University of Michigan, NACJD acquires, archives, processes, and provides downloadable access to hundreds of computer-readable criminal justice data collections.
While the ICPSR is a membership-based organization, most NACJD data is freely available to the public. Some relevant data sets are restricted to members; when working off-campus you will need to
login to the NACJD with your Rutgers NetID before you can download this data.

Print copies of the latest edition of the Statistical Abstract are also available at the Alexander (DocRef), Camden, Dana, and Kilmer Reference Desks, and at REF HA 202 in the Library of Science and Medicine.
The U.S. Census Bureau has digitized most of the Statistical Abstracts back to 1878.

- United Nations Surveys of Global Illicit Drug Trends
- An annual report published since 1999 by the Research Section of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime which contains data on the global supply of and global demand for illicit drugs.
- International Crime Victims Surveys

- Reports based on data compiled from surveys conducted in 1989, 1992, 1996 and 2000 by the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime and the U.N. Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute. Indclides data about type of crime, whether crime was reported, perception of victim support and opinions about crime, fear and punishment. Dataset can be downloaded from site.
