Education Law
A responsible educator needs to know legal information covering a wide array of topics (student conduct, teacher
responsibilities, special education, copyright, etc.) The governance of Education is contained in the administrative
statutes on both the Federal and State levels. However, other statutes need to be known for effective teaching and
administration. See the related information under:
Special Education, as well as
Copyright and Acceptable Use Policies. The topic
Comparative Education should be consulted for links to international education statutes and
regulations.
