Philosopher's Index
The premier international resource in philosophy, The Philosopher's Index is a bibliographic database with informative author-written abstracts covering scholarly research in the fifteen fields of philosophy, published in journals and books since 1940. It covers the areas of ethics, aesthetics, social philosophy, political philosophy, epistemology, and metaphysical logic, as well as material on the philosophy of law, religion, science, history, education and language. Over 480 journals are covered, from 38 countries. 80% of the records are taken from journal articles, with the remaining 20% taken from books and contributions to anthologies. The database cites works in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Russian, Chinese and Japanese. It also includes complete coverage of international articles from anthologies and books written in English and other languages
