New Jersey Digital Highway (NJDH)
"The New Jersey Digital Highway (NJDH) is a new way to explore our state's history and culture. NJDH is a collaboration of the state's libraries, museums, archives and historical societies to provide a "one stop shop" for New Jersey's cultural treasures-photographs, books, documents, three-dimensional objects, video and audio. There are interest areas:
  • Everyone can find information about New Jersey and about documenting your own family history and culture.
  • Educators will also find information, tools and activities for teaching about the immigrant experience in New Jersey.
  • Students will find information about New Jersey, resources to help them learn and prepare school projects, and activities to explore their own family history.
  • Librarians & Curators will find information about creating and managing their collections, as well as opportunities to participate in New Jersey Digital Highway.
  • Visit the area that interests you most to begin your adventure on the New Jersey Digital Highway.
  • NJDH's inaugural collection is The Changing Face of New Jersey - The Immigration Experience from Earliest Times to the Present. This collection presents materials and information about the rich, diverse peoples and culture of New Jersey. Photographs, letters, documents, books and oral histories tell the story of New Jersey through the stories of people who brought new cultures, languages and ideas with them to New Jersey."
