web resources are listed below.

RU Libraries Databases
- Lexis Nexis Statistical Universe [RU Libraries-Specific]
- Use this resource to find statistical methodologies used in reports. See how statistics are used to make a
point, support an argument, or report a situation.
-
- LexisNexis Statistical unifies indexing previously available through three print products, the American
Statistics Index, the Statistical Reference Index, and the Index to International Statistics. Full text or Web
links are provided for some citations, and the complete text of the Statistical Abstract of the United States
is included in the database. Indexing and abstracts of U.S. government statistical publications is available
from 1973 forward. It provides detailed abstracts, indexing, and locator information for all statistical reports
of general research value issued by the federal government with some reports as far back as the early 1960's.
Materials not linked or provided full text online are generally available at either the Alexander Library or
the Library of Science and Medicine in New Brunswick although their holdings may not show in IRIS; contact
the reference desks of these libraries. Selected materials will also be available at the Robeson Library in
Camden and Dana Library in Newark.
-
- Statistical materials are also available from 1980 on for state agencies, think tanks, and many private sources.
For those that are not linked online or provided full text, users may locate a complete microfiche collection of the
materials indexed at the Alexander Library. Select material, especially State of New Jersey statistical products,
may also be available at Alexander and other libraries in hard copy.
In addition, LexisNexis Statistical provides indexing for approximately 2000 documents from international
governmental organizations, e.g. the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, etc. since 1983. Strong
collections of IGO materials are held by the Alexander Library and the Library of Science and
Medicine in their respective collecting areas, and by the Dana Library in Newark for business.
Not all of these resources are found yet in IRIS; contact the libraries' reference desks for holdings information.
