Latino Studies
Organization of Collection
The
Alexander Library
houses the principal research collection for Latino Studies. The largest government publications
collections within the Rutgers University Libraries can also be found at
Alexander Library
and the
Library of Science and Medicine.
Additional collections are available at the
Dana Library , the
Robeson Library , and the
Newark
and
Camden Law
libraries. The
Humanities and Social Sciences Data Center
will facilitate access to the Rutgers University Libraries' Government, the ICPSR (Inter-University
Consortium for Political and Social Research) and networked CDROM data, while also serving as a
clearinghouse for existing or newly created data collections located elsewhere.
Special Collections and University Archives
collects, preserves, and makes available primary and secondary resources pertaining to
New Jersey history and culture.
The
Center of Alcohol Studies Library houses collections dealing with the biomedical
houses collections dealing with the biomedical and psychosocial aspects of beverage alcohol, its use, and related consequences. The
Media Center
unit offers a selected list of moving image (videotape, DVD, laser disc) on the topic and the
Art Library
houses materials related to the Latino art experience.
Some additional documents are included in
RUcore, a community repository that will
make the intellectual property of Rutgers University, its faculty and
graduate students, permanently available for scholars and researchers.

William Carlos Williams
