About sex Motion picture 1972

In the first half of the film Angel Martinez, a youth program consultant for New York City's Planned Parenthood, conducts a discussion with teenagers about the biological and psychological aspects of sex. In the second half of the film Angel Martinez discusses sexual fantasies, homosexuality, body growth, masturbation, abortion and love.

Acting our age a film about women growing old 1988

Six women, aged 65 to 75, speak openly about subjects normally considered taboo for older women, including sexuality, being alone, financial difficulties, and dealing with death. Interviews are interspersed with images of the women's daily lives to provide insight into the effects of aging on women's self-image, their roles in their family and relationships, and the place they hold in their communities.

The life and times of Sara Baartman "The Hottentot Venus" 1998

A documentary film on the life of a Khoi Khoi woman who was taken from South Africa in 1810 and exhibited as a freak across Britain. The image and ideas for "The Hottentot Venus" (particularly the interest in her sexual anatomy) swept through British popular culture. A court battle waged by abolitionists to free her from her exhibitors failed. In 1814, a year before her death, she was taken to France and became the object of scientific research that formed the bedrock of European ideas about black female sexuality.

Wrestling with manhood boys, bullying and battering 2002

Drawing the connection between professional wrestling and the construction of contemporary masculinity, Sut Jhally and Jackson Katz show how so-called 'entertainment' is related to homophobia, sexual assault and relationship violence. They further argue that to not engage with wrestling in a serious manner allows cynical promoters of violence and sexism an uncontested role in the process by which boys become "men.".
