Quick Tips for Searching Music in IRIS
Advanced Search is the best way to find scores, sound recordings, and visual materials.
- If uncertain of spelling or tense, use truncation:
- If a piece is in a collection or anthology, it cannot always be found searching by title or author. Try "words anywhere:"
- Also use "words anywhere" to find a specific publisher or recording label:
- Limit your search by type of material:
