Chemistry (pertaining to cosmetic chemistry) In the early 1990s, the library of the New York Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) closed. Prior to the closure, the books and journals were donated to the Rutgers University Libraries. These print titles integrate well with existing collections in chemistry, food science, medicine and pharmacy. Items are easily located through IRIS, our online catalog. This material is shelved at either the Library of Science and Medicine or the Libraries Annex. As collection funding permits, new items are added in response to instructional and research needs in the subject areas previously mentioned. Rutgers University does not offer a degree or certificate program in cosmetic chemistry. Those who are interested in pursuing a graduate degree, should review the graduate programs listed below.
