Finding Books about Stem Cells in IRIS

For maximum retrieval:

In the IRIS Quick Search box,

Using: Words Anywhere

Combine "stem cells" with other appropriate terms (e.g., stem cells and ethics).

For more specific retrieval:

Pull down menu to: Subject begins with, type in stem cells. You can use a Subheading if you know one (e.g, stem cells laboratory manuals). Otherwise, select a specific topic from the Results list created by your Subject search.

Pull down menu to: Title begins with for a known book title (e.g., stem cell assays). Live links from the Subject headings of a particular book can lead to lists of books on the same topic.

Note that the word "embryonic" is not always used in IRIS records. Thus there are only a few titles listed under Subject embryonic stems cells.
