Women's Studies
The Research Guide in Women's Studies provides a list of basic resources for
conducting a research in Women's Studies at Rutgers University, New Brunswick
Libraries. Mabel Smith Douglass Library
houses the main collection on Women's
Studies. It includes the subject areas of sexuality and gender studies; sociology
and history of the family; history of feminist movement and the struggle for
women's rights; and feminist theory in its interdisciplinary and sociological
manifestations. Alexander Library houses material in the area of history and
literature of women, government documents related to women including United Nations
and foreign and international documents.
