Scholarly Communication and Open Access:
What the Rutgers University Libraries are doing The Rutgers Community RepositoryIn response to the growth and changing nature of scholarship, Rutgers University Libraries have developed a digital repository for scholarly publications (RUcore - Rutgers Community Repository) that will capture, archive and provide open access, significant intellectual property of Rutgers faculty, graduate students, administration and staff. Original research products, papers and the unique resources of the libraries will also be permanently preserved and made accessible openly on the Web. Search RUcore's Faculty and Departmental Collections. Faculty Article RepositoryNumerous studies have shown that openly accessible scholarship are used more widely and have higher research impact in a growing number of disciplines than those that are not available openly online. Take advantage and deposit the results of your research and professional activity in RUcore. Rutgers and the NIHRutgers University Libraries assist National Institute of Health (NIH) grantees who must meet new public access requirements for published peer-reviewed articles by doing the copyright research and submission work for them. Deposit NIH funded articles. Electronic Theses and DissertationsAn Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD) facility enables graduate students to submit an electronic copy of their thesis that will be cataloged in the Library Catalog with links to RUcore, will be available on Proquest's Dissertations and Theses database as well as free online on the Web. Search RUcore's Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD). | |||
