Scholarly Communication requires the collaboration of researchers, publishers, libraries, and archives. Economic and technological change is blurring the boundaries among the participants. Rising costs are creating barriers to access, but technology and our own ingenuity may enable us to transform the system to our benefit and the benefit of society.
