Borrowing Privileges

Primary Borrowers			Privileges

Loan Period				Faculty/graduate students/staff:  Semester loan
					Undergraduates:   28 day loan

Renewal				        If not blocked for any reason, users can renew using the 
					"Renew Your CheckOuts" option in the SELF SERVICES
					section of IRIS.

Overdue Material			Overdue at 7 days, at 40 days borrowing privileges will be 
					blocked.

Borrowing Limit			        240 items

Eligible for:				Rutgers Request Service
					   (Recalls and delivery)	Yes
					Interlibrary loan		Yes
					Use of Reserve collections	Yes
					Remote database access	        Current Rutgers students,
									  faculty, and staff only

	
Guest Borrowers			        Privileges

Loan Period				28 day loan

Renewal				        Same as Primary borrowers.

Overdue Material			Same as Primary borrowers.

Borrowing Limit			        25 items

					Interlibrary loan		No
					Use of Reserve collections	Yes
