Individuals who cannot satisfy their information requirements through their local public library, organizational library, or interlibrary loan may purchase guest borrowing privileges by submitting an application form and $100 annual fee by mail to Community Borrower Program, University Libraries Administration, 169 College Ave., New Brunswick, NJ 08901-1163. See the "Alumni and Community Borrowing Privileges" website for a link to the application form.
Cards are issued by University Libraries Administration, and mailed directly to community borrowers. Issue an RUL Guest borrower card; write patron's name and expiration date on card. Mail the card along with a copy of the "Alumni and Community Borrowing Privileges" brochure to the applicant.
The Community Borrowers Program covers individuals who formerly received privileges as Corporate, Friends of RUL, or Guest Researcher borrowers.
