- Most graduate students working on dissertations pay a nominal Matric continued fee and appear online. Some do not pay the fee but the department wants them to receive the degree. These graduate students need a Letter* saying that they are unofficially Matric continued. Extend privileges for one semester and add a PUB-NOTE: Unofficially Matric continued by department. Write GRAD and expiration date on a plastic RUL borrowers card. They must submit a new letter from the department each semester to continue to receive privileges.
* Letters from departments should be on University letterhead. They should state the name of the
borrower, the nature and term (expiration date) of their appointment or relationship with the
University, and be signed by a Dean, Director, or Department Head (letters for NB Theological
Seminary students may be signed by Head of Circulation at Sage Library).
