Collection Development Statement
Textbooks

Required course textbooks are not automatically ordered for the libraries' collections. Textbooks may be ordered (or acquired) for the collections at the discretion of individual selectors. Textbooks acquired by the libraries are subject to the same policies that govern addition and retention of all other types of books.

Special Collections and University Archives are not covered by this policy or the procedures it governs. Instructors are encouraged to consult SCUA librarians or archivists if they would like to have SCUA materials made available for their courses.
