Textbooks

Textbooks used in courses are rarely acquired and only when appropriate for upper level undergraduate courses or graduate studies. Advanced technical and scientific textbooks are collected as reference books when they are the best source. Representative samples of textbooks used in elementary and secondary schools are collected to meet the needs of prospective teachers in educational programs and graduate students in education.

Historical textbooks are acquired selectively for research purposes in the study of the history of education and science, and other areas.
