The Bindery section manages the commercial binding of all serials and monographs. The End-Processing section is responsible for labeling, tattle taping, stamping and book plating of journals and monographs as well as processing accompanying material, including newly acquired material from Acquisitions. Management of these operations involves assuring the accuracy of labeling so that material may be properly shelved, performing bound check-in, maintaining the integrity of our permanent holdings overall, and some evaluation of damaged material.
