Responsibilities

The Government Documents Processing Group focuses primarily on areas and concerns that are unique to government documents and reports. The group strives to maintain the integrity of the collections and facilitate access to a wide variety of government material. The Government Documents Processing Group works collaboratively with Technical and Automated Services, Distributed Technical Services, Access Services, and Documents Librarians from all three RUL campuses to coordinate routine work and establish efficiencies in workflow.

• Receipt of US Federal Depository Materials, State, International and Foreign Government Documents
• Maintenance of Government Publications serial controls & serial holdings information
• Coordination of processing MARCIVE serial and monographic records
