Reports from chair

• Eileen is working with the Office of Disability Services for possible JAWs upgrade
  • Possible cooperative license purchase to reduce costs
• Delay in Kurzweil training online tutorial materials
  • Vendor claims the materials have been sent
  • No record of the libraries receiving materials [subsequently resolved]

Debrief from Rutgers Disabilities Symposium

• Universities are encountering a greater number of disabled veterans than before
  • Many coming back to school
  • Unique needs, as not all of the disabilities are "visible"
  • Possible resource: University Veteran Administrators
• Student panel gave compelling testimonies specifically regarding Rutgers experiences

Old/New Business

• Kevin will investigate if Campus Disability Coordinators are still available as a resource
• Disability icon on Libraries website needs to be easier to identify and access
  • Anne will ask Sam McDonald to bring this to the Web Advisory Committee
• RUL Disability Services handout will be review next meeting
  • Need to update contact information and building information

• Will try to videoconference to Newark and Camden
