Minutes of January 22, 2004 meeting

Meeting was called to order @ 10:05am

1. December minutes are under review
2. Melody suggested some revisions when imputing in the spreadsheet.
3. Melody contacted the mentors for the Serials Conversion Project regarding the progress being made. They will give Melody an update at the next Holdings Working Group meeting in Feb.
4. Two new proposed |z notes for the 852 were reviewed. One is for cancelled titles and one is for the ACM Cat/Set/A titles.
5. The first line from the Comments field now displays in the item line in Workflows but not in the public catalog. Susan wasn’t able to remove the note.

• Spreadsheet is ready for imputing

Assignments

• Neera will send spreadsheet to Melody
• Melody will instruct Neera and Susan on using the spreadsheet
• Melody will present the proposed 2 additional |z notes in the 852 to the Holdings Working Group at their next meeting in Feb
• Melody, Neera and Susan will look into how to delete the 1st line of the Comments screen if it isn’t needed.
