Minutes of January 20, 2005 Meeting

Present:

Decisions:

• Change hit list to "X and other libraries" rather than just those where a copy is physically available.

• Change "URL" links to display full URLs as in current IRIS.

• Change "Contact Us" button to "Questions?" button
• Change "My Account" button to "Self Services"
• Change "I Need Material" to "Interlibrary Loan/EZBorrow"
• Change "Knowledge Portal" to "Research Guides"
• Change "Power Search" to "Advanced Search"

• Get Rid of "Hold"
• Get Rid of "Search Services"

• Item Info: get to correspond to our brief record
• Cat Record: get to correspond to "All"

• Implementation Timeline: Between Spring Semester & Summer Session
• Basic should be done by Spring Break

• Locations: Need to review descriptions since that's what's displaying

• Bob will investigate to see if "Call Number" can be part of the pull-down search menu

• Try moving "Advanced Search" and "Keyword Search" to the box next to Basic Search

• Language List: Include all languages in which we actually have materials; run annual update.

• Continue to develop IRIS Help
