  1. Navigation bar on bottom of each search
    • Can't get all buttons to work properly.
    • Action: For this version, remove non-working buttons.
  2. Basic search box on every IRIS screen

  3. Add Mark/Unmark buttons to Call Number Search Hit List

  4. Include a "New Books" option

    1. Change "Reserve Desk" to "Reserves"
    2. Remove the Library pull-down menu
    3. Make the "Instructor," "Course Name," Course Number" buttons smaller
  2. My Account
    1. Change (shorten) wording on "View my..."
    2. Left-justify columns
    3. Change "Review my IRIS Holds..." to "Review my IRIS Requests, Holds, and Recalls"
  3. Library Info inset
    1. Relabel as "Library Information."
    2. Remove "Feed Back" option
  4. Header black bar
    1. Move "Research Resources" to "Library Information" inset
    2. Add "Advanced Search" option
  5. Header grey bar
    1. Add a little more space between "Help" and "Exit IRIS."
    2. Add a little more space before "Go Back"
  6. "Details" and "Mark" buttons
    1. Eliminate the amount of black by making the buttons smaller.
  7. Library drop-down list
    1. Change "Media Services" to "Media Center"
  8. Advanced Search
    1. Change "pub year" to "publication year"
  9. Change Display
    1. Change "Full" to "Default"
    2. Change "All" to "Complete"
  10. Item display
    1. Unbold labels and bold bib record and MARC holdings
  11. Page headers
    1. Put a couple of spaces in front of each header

C. Other To Do

  1. Ask Judy to send out a message to RUL-Everyone explaining why she asked us to take the ILL link out of IRIS
  2. Natalie will put a "What happened to ILL?" link on the AAL/FAQ pages as soon as iLink goes live and revise the FAQs
  3. Stephanie will revise the IRIS Guide and Help screens text
  4. Natalie will demo/report on the IRIS changes at the next Public Services meeting
  5. Bob will call SIRSI to get an implementation date (will require at least 1/2 day downtime)

May 5th, June 16th (May 19th meeting has been cancelled)
