IPAC's goals for the coming year were identified as:
All three goals related to Strategic Goal I, supporting academic excellence, and to both of the themes for the current year.
Bob retrieved data for "This just in " pages that have been among the "Top 1000 Web Pages" for the Rutgers University Libraries during the months of February, March, April, and May 2009. A review of the data shows that the site is being used. It was decided that data for the summer and fall semesters should be considered before any decisions are made on increasing archival content.
Library location names in IRIS and on the Media Booking form were synchronized in the spring. The list within E-ZBorrow is limited to 30 characters for each library, so it's not possible to completely match the names to those used in IRIS. Stephanie will contact Chris Sterback and Judy Gardner to ask that the entry for "Camden Library" be changed to "Camden-Paul Robeson Library." All other library names should be left as currently listed. Changes to the library list in ILLiad may be made in the future.
The login prompt for the test catalog has been removed, but Revision C is back in place so that work can continue on developing point-of-need NetID login to IRIS. Bob will continue to work on changes in Rev.C based on previous IPAC decisions. Work on Rev.D will continue during times when having Rev.D in place will not interfere with other work in the test catalog.
