After discussion regarding the proposed future of the service, the group felt that the edits were beneficial for the present Reserve operation.
Judy charged the reserves group with a new project of creating a spread sheet in allow for the collection of statistics regarding reserve operations that are not currently available elsewhere such as via Director Station. The group worked collaboratively with Penny creating the spread sheet using Excel software by using the PC in the TAS Conference Room and broadcast to the remote locations allowing those attendees their input as necessary. Columns were given designations as to the information needed to be collected and the document was named Reserve Statistical Gathering form. The spreadsheet was completed and will be submitted to Judy for her comments and any necessary edits. Upon approval the spreadsheet will be posted on Sakai and the group will be given notice to begin using the statistical gathering form as soon as possible. Additionally, the majority of the group felt that if the form was approved, they would be able to pull in numbers from the beginning of the fall semester.
Since these minutes were taken, the spreadsheet was approved with small edits and placed on the Sakai Site for group use. The group was asked to begin using the form.
John Rake submitted a draft of a document noting procedures for Media Reserves. Penny placed the document on the Reserve Sakai site for group review and future discussion.
