Minutes of the July 24, 2003 Meeting

Present: Ruth Bogan, Kayo Denda, Tom Glynn, Sara Harrington, Triveni Kuchi (recorder)

• Triveni was elected to the position of chair and Sara to the position of Vice chair for the current year 2003-2004.

• Suggestions for the format of SAPAC sponsored events included a seminar/conference/workshop type of event in the Fall, and Brown Bags with a panel/ discussion format for the Spring were agreed on. For the fall, plans are to collaborate with other committees to co-sponsor a larger event such as a seminar with a keynote speaker. Comments, ideas and input are welcome.

• For the Fall program several ideas for topics were discussed including issues about Digital Resources, Scholarly Communication, Information Literacy/Instruction, and User-Centered libraries.
