The group welcomed Mike Mansouri to the meeting. Mike will be representing SERC reading room, replacing Chiaki Yamada who is now working at Douglass Library.
Rose, Priscilla and Megan will continue to work on WebCT at the end of March. The group would like to have the webpage available for use by the end of the fiscal year.
Guidelines for hiring vouchers is completed. After the audit of budget office is completed then final instructions on adding/making changes to vouchers in Timetrak/ payroll can be redrafted with current polices.
Rose has completed a draft for BSMFG on an emergency guide for students working evenings or weekends without fulltime staff. Rose will bring draft to Aprilís meeting.
Priscilla and Megan I. shared with the group the current draft of online Circulation Manual. Information on placing holds was added but still needs to be updated; instructions on using Untransit wizard and Check item status wizard will be added. Information on checking NOTES/ALERTS will be added under Charging.
Rose shared with the group statistics gathered from February meeting on current workstudy and voucher employees within the department compared to the fall semester. Fall Semesterís total students were 285, 81 vouchers and workstudy 204. Spring semesterís totals were 268, 79 vouchers and 189 workstudy.
Rose asked the group to bring copies of workstudy requests that were handed in to Administration in February. The group will work on standardizing job descriptions for the larger units, branches and collection services for next yearís requests. The job descriptions are posted in the student employment office for prospective workstudy and voucher employees.
The group has received voucher budget reports from Administration through first pay period in February. To find out how much workstudy money is left in any individual workstudy studentís account, contact your unit administrator. Diane McCarthy is the contact person at the Student Employment Office to verify workstudy accounts.
Physics Library recently lost 6 employees, 1 w/s and 5 vouchers. Megan I. was able to hire 4 vouchers but is still looking to hire 2 more. Rose has a possible good candidate and will forward the resume.
Roselyn Riley was recently transferred to Art Library and is being trained as a backup on Timetrak.
CS-LSM lost one voucher, which was hired into a full time line in same department

Kilmer library lost one student and hired a replacement the same day
Department of Justice contacted LSM for past employment information on one student. The group was reminded that the only information that is supposed to be given out about student employees is employment dates unless asked by a student to give a reference for future employment. Rutgers Human Resources at ASB can also verify dates of employment.
Annex had one student employee recently leave and hired a replacement within a week
