Original description and membership (Original charge, Apr. 2001)

The members of the NBL PC Working Group are the local PC Coordinators who serve as liaisons to the Systems Department and are the New Brunswick representatives to the RUL PCWG, a Subcommittee of the Technical Services Council.

The NBL PCWG is not intended to replace any other group, but to:

• facilitate communication and information dissemination between local PC Coordinators, Systems, PCWG, and groups within the New Brunswick Libraries;
• promote information exchange between local PC Coordinators;
• provide a forum for discussion and coordination of local issues such as reallocation of PCs, acquisition of replacement PCs, and procedural guidelines;
• and provide an emergency backup structure for local PC Coordinators.
