Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the University Librarian, the Associate University Librarian for Administrative Services is a member of the University Librarian's Cabinet, the senior management team of the Rutgers University Libraries. The AUL for Administrative Services is responsible for planning and management for the Libraries' human resources, including oversight for recruitment, appointment, and review processes for all employees, and the development and deployment of training and professional development programs, and for the management of the Libraries' budget and fiscal operations. The Libraries comprise 300 staff and faculty librarians over three campuses with a budget of $25 million. The AUL provides leadership in organizational development, oversees internal audit operations, and maintains Libraries statistics and statistical reporting operations. Manages a professional and clerical human resources and budget staff of eleven. Represents the Rutgers University Libraries within the university, the state, and on national committees and forums in these areas.
