SUBJECT:  Online Database Searching for Persons No Affiliated
          with Rutgers University

Effective immediately, Rutgers University Libraries will no longer offer searching of online databases, through its Network Services Division or at any of its libraries, for any person not affiliated with Rutgers University.

It is expected, however, that persons seeking this service will be furnished with information concerning other organizations offering searching. A list of such services presently offering searching is appended to this memo. It is expected that an updated list, or the availability of a suitable current directory, will be at each Reference Department.

Please see that all appropriate staff are informed of library policy is this regard.
