The problem with LPT1 has been fixed. The RLIN 21 switch has been resolved.
34 machines have been ordered to replace the WIN95 machines in the system (aside from Clocktrack machines).
All units should make sure that all their pcs are included in the inventory database. Data on any missing machines should be emailed to Systems. If Systems does not know of machines, then they will not be considered when money is available to upgrade machines.
Lists have been updated.
There can be a problem with version 8 of Macafee virus protection on the Ariel machines. Macafee 8 defaults to blocking mass mailings and it views Ariel transactions that way. If an Ariel machine is rebooted, you need to go to the Virus Scan Console and then Properties to find the Prevent Mass Mailings box and uncheck it.
The list of RUL videoconferencing endpoints is in the Best Practices section of PCWG and on Bookroom on the web site.
The next meeting is scheduled for April 19. As usual, on Tuesday, 10AM in the TSB Conference Room.
