STAFF RESOURCES |
Systems is moving forward with the pc swaps. Almost all users designated to get a new machine have been contacted on more than one occasion with some having received phone calls. While Systems does understand that folks are busy, the machines currently in use by these users have been allocated others and are needed to keep the swaps flowing so to speak. Users who have not responded will be getting dates when the machines can be swapped out within the next month.
Systems is still waiting for the release of new OCLC Client. If someone in your area uses the client please let Anne Butman know so that their current software will be upgraded along with the other users.
Marilyn Wilt is working with Marcie Anszperger from the CAT to train PC Coordinators in the use of Office 2007 around June. Once trained those attending the training would form a training team for the units over the summer. Coordinators will have the software installed once we get firm dates from the CAT regarding training so they can be well acquainted with the software and are better prepared for the training. Anne will report on this to TSC in April.
The Security Workshop went well. Next up is one on File Structure that Anne probably will conduct in April.
Matt Medeiros’ job has not been posted yet.
The next meeting is scheduled on April 17 at 10AM in the TSB Conference Room.
