• The CALL (or LCAL as required) will contain the base call number without any volume designations
• Two copy structures are used, one for the main item and one for the accompnying item
• If items are cataloged to a subcollection other than STACKS, each CCAL ‡a will contain the appropriate subcollection designation followed by a space
• Each CCAL ‡b will contain the base call number followed by the identifying label for that particular piece
  • NOTE: Some identifying label is required for each item to distinguish between the two
• No MDES is used

This example shows a single volume item with an accompanying separate volume of plates, each with an individual barcode. The basic piece constitutes the "text" while the accompanying piece constitutes the "maps."
