Oversize Subcollection Sizes

Only those locations/subcollections that are listed below have an oversize designation for items over the listed size. As you can see, there are relatively few oversize subcollections within the library system. If a particular location/subcollection is not listed here, it does not have an oversize subcollection.

For most locations/subcollections only one size is listed. Apply the corresponding oversize designation if either the height (e.g., 34 cm.) or the width (e.g., 24 x 34 cm.) of an item exceeds the listed size.

EXCEPTION: The Music Library oversize designations specifically list different numbers for height and width. Apply those separate numbers as appropriate for deteriming an item's oversize status.

NOTE: MUSIC FOLIO and MUSIC X FOLIO should not be applied to complete sets (M1-M3.1)

Former FOLIO Subcollection Sizes

Before we standardized the general FOLIO size at 30 cm. several locations had slightly different FOLIO sizes which no longer apply. Older items still in the collections, however, may be located in FOLIO even though their sizes do not meet current oversize guidelines.
