This workshop provides an overview of the archival research process and how to locate and use archives to support student research. From demystifying finding aids to identifying relevant archival collections, attendees will learn a range of valuable tools and approaches to successful archival research. Attendees are encouraged to come with specific questions related to their research and how archives and archivists might help. Instructor: Elizabeth Surles (Archivist, Institute of Jazz Studies)
