Special Collections and University Archives (SC/UA) will host its inaugural Research Salon, featuring a presentation by Maxine N. Lurie, Professor Emerita at Seton Hall University.

In her talk, Lurie will demonstrate how and why materials she found at SC/UA have changed the planned content of her book, Taking Sides in Revolutionary New Jersey: Caught in the Crossfire, which will be published by the Rutgers University Press. The Research Salons are informal talks by researchers who have used SC/UA for their projects. The presenters will speak briefly about their research and reflect on how the library’s rich resources have contributed to their work, leaving time for interaction with the audience. The salons will take place several times a year on Friday afternoons. A light lunch will be served.

Guests may register for parking here.
