Please join us at this year's gathering of the Friends of the Modern School featuring "Mother Jones in Heaven," a performance by Vivian Nesbitt of Si Kahn's one-woman show about the labor organizer famed for her tireless efforts on behalf of the rights of the working class. The program, which will be held on Saturday September 15 at the Alexander Library, includes a talk by architectural journalist and historian Amanda Hurley on her research into radical suburbs, one of which was the Stelton Ferrer/Modern School Colony. This event is being cosponsored by Rutgers University Libraries, New Brunswick.
