Google Scholar is an easy tool to begin a literature search in the sciences, but it can quickly devolve into a complicated process. How can you access full-text articles without hitting a paywall? How can you manage search results with the limited filter options? How can you save and organize citations or use the database for citation chaining? In this overview of Google Scholar, Meredith Parker, our Life Sciences Instruction Librarian, will take us to the database and provide tips and strategies to effectively search and navigate Google Scholar.
