Jazz Jam sessions are hosted in partnership with the New Jersey Performing Arts Center's Department of Community Engagement at Clement's Place, 15 Washington Place, Newark, NJ. Every third Thursday we will feature Wells Fargo Jazz for Teens, 5:30–7 p.m., followed immediately by a top-flight line up of New Jersey jazz musicians directed by pianist and bandleader James Austin, Jr., 7:30–9:30 pm. Admission, drinks, and refreshments are complimentary thanks to Wayne Winborne, executive director, Rutgers Institute of Jazz Studies. Jazz musicians and singers are welcomed to perform.
