Search for articles across multiple library databases
To find a journal, magazine, or newspaper article in the most popular databases in your subject area, enter your search term(s) and choose a subject from the pull-down menu. To view a complete list of indexes and databases available at Rutgers, click on View all databases. For more information see "How Do I Find an Article?"
To find books and more in the Library Catalog, enter your term(s) and select a search type in the pull-down menu. For more information see "How Do I Find a Book?"
To find a print or electronic journal in the Rutgers collections, enter its title or keywords in the title and select the appropriate search type in the pull-down menu. For more information, see "How Do I Find a Journal?"
To find a list of books, textbooks, and electronic articles placed on course reserve by your instructor, enter your instructor's last name and search. You can also use the pull-down menu to search by course title or number.
To view your book requests as well as links to E-ZBorrow, UBorrow, Interlibrary Loan, and Media Booking, select "".
Log in with your NetID and password or, if you do not have a Rutgers NetID and are eligible to request Rutgers materials, enter your barcode and library PIN.
Select "Requests" to see a list of the materials you have requested using the Book Delivery and Special Request options. An "Available for pickup" message will display when the book is ready to check out at your pickup library. If you requested delivery to an off-campus site, books will be checked out to you before shipment and will be listed in your list of Checkouts.
To see a list of your bookings for Rutgers' media, including start and end days/times and pickup locations, select the "Media Booking" link.
From the main menu, select the "Outstanding Requests" link . Find your article request in the list, including its transaction number, title, author, and current status.
Select your article request's transaction number to view complete transaction information, including a tracking log at the bottom of the screen where you will see the date/time and status of the request every time it is updated.
