The National Emergency Library is a free collection of over 1.4 million books digitized and hosted by the Internet Archive. These are books under copyright held by libraries from around the world. Each book is fully scanned from cover to cover.
After creating and logging in with a free Internet Archive account, select a book and click “Borrow this Book” to read it online. You may borrow up to 10 books at a time for up to 14 days each. Each book may be borrowed simultaneously by an unlimited number of users; there are no waiting lists. You may also download your borrowed books and read them offline using Adobe Digital Editions software.
