South Asia Archive is a collection of primary and secondary source materials from the Indian sub-continent, including documents from India, Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. Material types include journals, rare books, maps, gazetteers, reports, legislation, acts, and regulations. Documents date from the mid-18th to mid-20th century. Much of the material is in English, but 15% is written primarily in Bengali, and some content in Sanskrit is also included.

Documents may be viewed in the browser. Rutgers does not have access to PDF downloads as part of this trial.
