The Stedman Art Gallery was established in 1975 and is located in the Fine Arts Center at Rutgers University–Camden.

The Stedman Gallery Collection features works from the Stedman Art Gallery, which was established in 1975 and is located in the Fine Arts Center at Rutgers University–Camden.

The digital collection includes a variety of artworks ranging from chalk and charcoal drawings, to acrylic and oil paintings, to 19th-century Ukiyo-e, a type of Japanese woodblock print depicting Kabuki actors and other scenes from daily life.

The Rutgers–Camden Collection of Art, from which the digital collection is drawn, includes over 450 works of art by such artists as Jennifer Bartlett, Salvador Dali, Helen Frankenthaler, Leon Golub, Yvonne Jacquette, Marisol, Robert Rauschenberg, Larry Rivers, and Victor Vasarely, among others. The collection has several areas of concentration including works on/of paper by contemporary artists, works by artists living and/or working in southern New Jersey, and purchase prizes from the annual Rutgers–Camden Senior Thesis exhibition.
