Join Rutgers University Libraries at Rutgers Day on Saturday, April 25!  Be sure to stop by our tents located on the Voorhees Mall, in front of the Art Library on the College Avenue Campus, for a host of informative, entertaining, and family-friendly programming with a focus on building knowledge through creativity.

Throughout the day, Libraries faculty and staff will read from children’s books that celebrate construction and imagination, including Building a House by Byron Barton, Building With Dad by Carol Nevius Jones, Sky Boys:  How They Built the Empire State Building by Deborah Hopkinson, and many more.

Visitors will have the chance to test their wits and win fantastic prizes by answering questions from our Libraries trivia wheel or to learn more about Libraries events, exhibitions, and other public programming at our information tent.

The Libraries will once again be featured in the R Garden, an interactive art installation made of large block R sculptures decorated by departments throughout the university.   Lego play stations will be available both at the R Garden and inside the Art Library.  Other great surprises are in store!

Rutgers Day is an annual celebration of all things Rutgers.  Activities take place throughout New Brunswick and Piscataway on the Busch, College Avenue, and Cook/Douglass campuses and run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Programming is free and open to the public.
