NCLEX RN Examination Question Bank Now Available
Rutgers University Libraries has licensed an online question bank which will aide in preparation for the NCLEX RN exam. It is available 24/7 to any Rutgers users with a NetID and is available from any computer connected to the Internet.
First-time users must register and create a personal account. It is important to do this on a computer on the Rutgers network/IP range. Thereafter, the question bank may be used from any Internet-connected computer. The registration form requires very brief information from the user, such as name and e-mail address. The user will create a password which will be used on each visit to the question bank.
The NCLEX RN exam may be found directly at http://www.libraries.rutgers.edu/indexes/nclex-rn or listed alphabetically on the “Databases” page at http://www.libraries.rutgers.edu/health_sciences/health_indexes
Registered users are presented with a list of available exam question banks licensed by the university libraries. After selecting NCLEX RN, users have the option to select specific sections of the exam. In addition, the practice exam may be taken as a self-paced test or in a timed format, which would more closely resemble the action examination. Questions are written in the form of brief scenarios, followed by multiple choice answers. The program provides feedback on selected answers, proving factual information on why an answer is correct/incorrect. The questions are arranged in broad categories. Users may opt to select one or multiple categories. Users may also designate the total number of questions to be seen during each specific practice exam. The resource provides detailed answers for each question and provides feedback on performance.
