AVON's easy to use search function allows users to easily browse and find what they're looking for.

Rutgers University Libraries are pleased to announce that the Academic Video Online: Premium (AVON) collection from the Alexander Street Press is now available to the Rutgers community. AVON provides access to over 50,000 videos from reputable producers such as BBC and PBS, mostly on the subjects of Social Sciences, American History/American Studies, Music & Performing Arts, Science & Engineering, and Health Sciences.

AVON contains a startling array of films -- from instructional art videos to demonstrations of complicated dental procedures, from animated art poetry to films fresh from Cannes and other festivals, from National Geographic documentaries like Mummies of Gold to a series of programs about engineering topics like Forces, Materials, and Explosions.
