Shape Your Future: Participate in the 2020 Census
Today is Census Day, and we want to be sure that everyone in New Jersey gets counted this spring.
Your responses to this once-a-decade population count of everyone living in the United States as of April 1, 2020, will help shape the future of our community and inform how billions of dollars in federal funding is distributed for important programs and services in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and emergency response. And, it will impact our representation in Congress.
When more people in our community respond, that means more opportunities for you, your family, and your friends and neighbors for the next 10 years.
Help New Jersey beat its response rate from 2010! View the interactive Response Rates Map and challenge others to participate.
Join us to shape the future of our community by responding to the 2020 Census online today at 2020Census.gov. It’s easy and takes just a few minutes to complete. The future starts with you!
Students may find the Student Affairs website useful. It distinguishes between on campus, off campus, and commuter students, as well as whether you should be counted by your parents at home.
