Summer Tales Book Club for Rutgers–New Brunswick Students Kicks off Today
The Summer Tales book club is an opportunity for Rutgers–New Brunswick students to explore virtual communities with a fun summer program. A live event will kick things off this afternoon from 1 to 2 p.m.
Join the New Brunswick Libraries and Summer Session New Brunswick to take short mental breaks from your heavy coursework through a fool-proof method of distraction: reading short stories and discussing related issues with fellow students. No background in literature is required!
Summer Tales will focus on one short story for each of the three summer sessions:
- May 26–June 19: “How to Talk to Girls at Parties” by Neil Gaiman
- June 22–July 17: “Sleeping and Waking” by F. Scott Fitzgerald
- July 20–August 12: “Where is Here?” by Joyce Carol Oates
