Spring 2015 Photography Exhibit on Display Now at Kilmer Library
Rutgers University Libraries are pleased to announce the spring 2015 exhibit at Kilmer Library, Rutgers University–New Brunswick. On display will be a solo exhibit of three photograph series by Delfina Picchio, entitled In Red, The Blues, and Museum.
Each series includes carefully considered subjects and color tones. In Red and The Blues focus on the relationships between colors and human emotions, with red connoting sensuality and blue representing the feeling of isolation. Museum depicts an international trip through some of the world’s most iconic museums, exploring the differing styles of art and architecture.
Delfina Picchio is a first-year student at Mason Gross School of the Arts studying visual arts with a double major in English. Her photographs have appeared at the Con Artist Gallery in New York City.
All members of the Rutgers community and the general public are welcome to view the exhibit, located on the main floor of Kilmer Library near the reference desk. It is free and open for viewing during regular hours of operation. The photographs will be on display through Monday, May 4.
